Added date - St Helen's 20th September
Phil is delighted to be invited to play the Christie theatre organ which is housed in St Mary's Lowe House RC Church in St. Helens.
As many will know, this organ was originally located in the Pyramid Cinema (later the Odeon), Sale and at its removal from there, it was acquired by the Lancastrian Theatre Organ Trust who subsequently installed it in the Blue Coat School in Oldham. The organ remained there until 2008 when it was removed and later donated to the Lowe House Trust RC Church.
Although this will be the first occasion on which Phil has played the Christie in St. Helens, he is very much looking forward to being reacquainted with the organ, which he has previously played at the Blue Coat School.
